W.M Weller Tree Service Ltd has been an active company in the forestry field since 1917 when it was first founded by Robert Franklin Weller. W.M Weller tree service is a family owned and operated business. In 1977 W.M Weller tree service was incorporated by Wilfred Weller to provide family continuity of succession for his sons Bruce Weller, Neil Weller and Gordon Weller and Doug Weller. Over the last 10 years, Bruce's sons, Dave and Mike and Daughter Christel, as well as Neil’s son Rob, have taken over the day to day operation of Weller Tree Service.

W.M Weller Tree Service is one of the largest privately owned tree companies in Ontario. W.M Weller Tree Service has grown into a larger corporation over the last decade, with 150 employees and over 50 Crews working for different municipalities from Toronto to Midland on a daily bases, both working for the Municipalities and the Hydro Companies and Commissions that represent each municipality.
Weller Tree Service also has an additional 10 Crews that look after our residential business. WM Weller Tree Service has over 45 Bucket Trucks with Chippers and 8 Mobile Cranes that range from 12 Ton to 25 Ton with reach up to 140Ft; we have currently 10 Stumpers that can reach a depth up to 21 inches.

We also have numerous other pieces of equipment that help us in our daily operation that makes our workplace a safer place for our employees to work. Weller Tree Service has always strived to make our work environment one of the safest in the industry, with current trainers that visit the crews and keep them up to date with the industries safe work practices.

WM Weller Tree Service sits on many industry boards one being the Arborist Safe Work Practice Board, over the last few years
WM Weller Tree Service has become more active with our tree planting operation and our TreeAzin injection operations for ash trees.
WM Weller Tree Service over the years has been able to mobilize large number of crews to deal with large storms and emergency services.
WM Weller Tree Service provided numerous crews for the ice storm in Eastern Ontario in 1998 with crews stationed in Ottawa and Kingston for over a year to help restore the urban tree canopy.
WM Weller Tree Service supplied over 60 crews to help assist this winter with the ice storm that devastated Southern Ontario.                 WM Weller Tree Service has also taken part in helping to deal with the Asian Long Horned Beetle infestation in the Toronto and Vaughan region in 2003 working for the Canadian Food and Drug Agency and different Municipalities to help eradicate the threat to our Trees.
WM Weller Tree Service is also assisting the Canadian Food and Drug Agency with the latest findings in Mississauga with the Asian Long horned Beetle.
